The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has announced an option for federal contractors and subcontractors with 100 or more establishments (or functions) to upload or modify establishment information into the agency’s Affirmative Action Program Verification Interface (AAP-VI) Contractor Portal.

As we reported previously, all supply and service contractors subject to OFCCP’s jurisdiction must certify by June 30 of this year that they have developed and maintained Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs) in accordance with OFCCP’s regulations. And while a bulk upload feature is certainly desirable for some contractors, the new option has its limitations. Most notably, it is available only to contractors with 100 or more establishments or functions. Also, for reasons not explained, eligible contractors are not able to use the option within OFCCP’s AAP-VI portal. Instead, contractors need to submit a separate email to OFCCP with a pre-populated spreadsheet.

The “Bulk/Upload Modification Template” that contractors must use when requesting to bulk upload or modify multiple entities is attached for your information, along with the instructions for filling out the Template and a set of corresponding Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), all of which are available on OFCCP’s Contractor Portal landing page.
