The U.S. Senate, on a partisan vote of 51 to 47, confirmed President Biden’s nomination of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Chair Charlotte Burrows to a third term on the commission ending in 2028. Ms. Burrows’ confirmation means that the five-member EEOC will operate with a Democratic majority until at least 2026.
