The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has posted a new Corporate Scheduling Announcement List (CSAL) notifying 500 supply-and-service federal contractor establishments that it has flagged them for an upcoming compliance evaluation. The FY 2024 CSAL Supply & Service Scheduling List, Release – 1 and updated FAQs show that OFCCP has identified 440 establishments for standard compliance reviews, 30 establishments for Corporate Management Compliance Evaluation (CMCE) reviews, 24 entities for Functional Affirmative Action Program (FAAP) reviews, and 6 institutions of higher education for reviews. The vast majority of flagged establishments are associated with a single contractor, a change from OFCCP’s previous practice of frequently targeting multiple establishments of the same contractor.
OFCCP’s methodology indicates that for each region, the agency selected five CMCE reviews, four FAAP units, two financial institutions, and one institution of higher education. OFCCP also targeted establishments whose EEO-1 reports indicated high employee headcounts.
OFCCP no longer has a 45-day grace period between the publication of the CSAL and the sending of formal scheduling letters, so a flagged establishment could receive a scheduling letter at any time.
