OFCCP had a slow year in FY 2024, awarding less money in discrimination cases to fewer class members and completing fewer audits than at any time in recent memory, according to enforcement data released by the agency.

The data, which cover the period from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024, show that OFCCP completed 14% fewer supply-and-service (non-construction) audits this year than last year. On the positive side, the data show that the agency found violations in 8% more audits and scheduled 11% more supply-and-service audits this year than last year.

The data also show that there was a dramatic uptick in alleged violations of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. OFCCP reported that alleged violations of VEVRAA increased 90%, and alleged violations of Section 503 increased 124% since last year.
