The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has announced that it intends to seek approval from the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to keep using its Contractor Portal, the online tool that allows federal contractors to certify annually that they have developed and maintained Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs) in accordance with OFCCP regulations. The Contractor Portal was formerly known as the Affirmative Action Program Verification Interface (AAP-VI). As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), OFCCP is soliciting public comments on its proposed renewal of the Contractor Portal before submitting a formal approval request to OMB. The Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC), our affiliated nonprofit membership association, plans to file comments by the February 12, 2024, deadline.
