The U.S. Senate recently took two significant steps regarding President Biden’s nominees for key workplace enforcement agency positions. It confirmed Jessica Looman as the Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Administrator, nearly 18 months after she was nominated. The committee’s action greatly increases the likelihood that the Senate will confirm Burrows before her current term expires at the end of the year.
