A contractor that administers the annual Employer Information (EEO-1) Report for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is advising that historical EEO-1 Reports from 2015 through 2021 that were downloaded in conjunction with the current EEO-1 filing cycle might have displayed incorrect data. According to the contractor, historic reports accessed in the OFS [Online Filing System] between October 31 and December 4, 2023, displayed counts of ‘Asian’ employees under the ‘Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander’ category and counts of ‘Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander’ employees under the ‘Asian’ category.” These errors have been corrected. Members of the Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC), our affiliated nonprofit membership association, might have downloaded the flawed reports for various purposes, including government audits, sustainability reports, and diversity and inclusion efforts. We recommend that our members download both their current and historical EEO-1 Reports to determine whether this error affected them.
