The Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC), our affiliated nonprofit membership association, has updated its primer on workplace harassment prevention and risk mitigation strategies. Unlawful workplace harassment is one of the most common bases of alleged discrimination charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the EEOC recently issued a proposal for updating its guidance for preventing workplace harassment in the private sector. Therefore, CWC thought it would be helpful to update its CWC Harassment Prevention Primer & Checklist. The primer has a user-friendly question-and-answer format and is divided into three parts—Part 1: Harassment Law Basics; Part 2: Risk Factors and Proactive Prevention Strategies; and Part 3: Checklist for Proactive Harassment Prevention.
