Several CWC members received a HIRE Vets Medallion Award this year. The U.S. Labor Department’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL-VETS) announces the awards in conjunction with Veterans Day.
The HIRE Vets Medallion Award was created in 2017 as part of the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (the “HIRE Vets Act”). The award is designed to recognize employers’ exemplary efforts to recruit, employ, and retain veterans and to provide community and charitable services supporting the veteran community.
The following CWC members were among this year’s HIRE Vets Medallion Award recipients:

- General Dynamics Mission Systems
- Leidos
- Lockheed Martin Corporation
