Who Must File a New Jersey Pay Report?
Employers, regardless of where they are located, must file if they hold contracts for qualifying services with the State of New Jersey or perform work on public works projects funded by public entities.
New Pay Transparency Requirements
Effective June 1, 2025, New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Law requires employers with 11 or more employees and who are posting job or accepting applications in New Jersey – including remote roles – to include wage or salary ranges and a general description of benefits in all job postings. Employers must also make reasonable efforts to notify current employees of promotional opportunities.
