The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has announced that it wants to expand the scheduling letter and itemized listing by which it notifies federal construction contractors of a compliance audit. OFCCP also intends to add reporting items to Form CC-314, the Construction Contract Award Notification Requirement. These developments are consistent with the agency’s increased scrutiny of federal construction contractors following Congressional approval of the massive infrastructure bill in 2021. OFCCP intends to seek formal approval from the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to make these changes to the scheduling letter and Form CC-314. As required under the Paperwork Reduction Act, OFCCP is soliciting public comments. CWC intends to file comments by the April 26 deadline. CWC member companies should direct their input to Gabrielle Lattery at glattery@cwc.org or Danny Petrella at dpetrella@cwc.org by April 5.
